The BVA Family, the first group in the market research and consulting sector to become a Purpose-Driven Company (“Entreprise à mission”) in France as of January 1, 2022, announces the arrival of Matthieu Witvoet to its Mission Committee. Eco-adventurer and entrepreneur committed to ecological and social transition, Matthieu will bring his expertise to The BVA Family
At the young age of 27, Matthieu Witvoet is an environmental activist, social entrepreneur, and seasoned eco-adventurer. To raise awareness among the public and organizations about the environmental challenges ahead and highlight solutions to address them, Matthieu has already circumnavigated the globe by bicycle in 2017, exploring local solutions to plastic waste, swum across the Strait of Gibraltar (in October 2019), the Seine River (in May 2021), and Lake Titicaca alongside Théo Curin and Malia Metella (in November 2021). More recently, he swam from Marseille to Barcelona to raise awareness about cigarette butt pollution. His knowledge of practical solutions to plastic waste has led him to deliver over a hundred conferences (at the European Commission, Étoiles du Sport, TEDx, etc.). He also led the Circul’R Club in partnership with the Ministry of Ecological Transition: a community of 40 major corporations, 40 startups, and 10 institutions focused on the circular economy.
By joining The BVA Family’s mission committee, Matthieu Witvoet will work closely with the group’s other 12 employee members to oversee the implementation of the company’s mission, which can be summarized as follows:
The BVA Family informs the decisions of people and organizations; deciphers the world and supports clients to build effective solutions, contributing to a positive future.
As a purpose-driven company, The BVA Family and its employees have a crucial role to play in the transition to a more sustainable and equitable economy. It is a source of pride for me to contribute to the group’s ambition to have a positive impact on environmental and societal challenges
